Optimizely Campaign for Shopware 5: Email Marketing for UK Shops

It connects your Shopware 5 store to Optimizely Campaign so that email list management, subscriber syncing, and campaign sending all happen in one place. When a customer signs up via your newsletter form, their details go straight into Optimizely in real time. From there, you run your email campaigns using Optimizely's tools without manually exporting and importing lists between the two platforms.

For stores that are still running on Shopware 5 while planning a migration, yes. The plugin keeps your email marketing fully functional during that period so nothing breaks while the migration is in progress. That said, if you are on Shopware 5 and using Optimizely Campaign, migrating to Shopware 6 is the right long-term move. solution25 also offers the Optimizely Campaign plugin for Shopware 6, so the transition is seamless with no disruption to your email setup.

Consent management is built into the plugin. Newsletter sign-ups go through a proper opt-in process and subscriber records carry consent status through to Optimizely. This means your email list is built on verified consent rather than assumed permission, which is the baseline requirement for email marketing under the EU GDPR and, for UK subscribers, under UK GDPR and PECR.

Yes. The plugin includes a form builder so you can design sign-up forms that match your store's visual style. These forms can be placed on your Shopware 5 storefront wherever you need them, and subscribers captured through them are synced to Optimizely automatically.

The plugin is available directly from the Shopware Store. The source code is open source on GitHub at github.com/solution25com/optimizely-campaign-shopware-5-solution25.
