Frequently asked questions

Do I have to build the store myself?

No. Unlike a store builder, our team develops and sets up the entire store: design, products, payment methods, shipping, and go-live. You provide your logo, products, and copy, we do the rest and keep running the store afterward.

What do you need from me?

Your logo, product data (for example as an Excel or CSV file, or from your existing store), product images, and copy. At the kickoff, we agree together on the format and timeline.

Do I own the store after the term ends?

Yes. When the 24-month minimum term ends, the usage rights to the store transfer to you: design, setup, and all data. You then decide whether to continue hosting, updates, and support with us (renewing for 12 months at a time), run the store yourself, or work with another provider.

Am I committing to anything by sending a request?

No. You’re not buying anything by sending a request. You’ll receive information about the selected plan and a personalised quote. A contract with a 24-month minimum term only comes into effect once you accept that quote.

Which stores are the plans designed for?

Scale and Pro are priced for stores with up to £1 million in annual revenue, whether you sell only in the UK or also to customers in the EU. If your store is above that, or needs integrations, B2B features or multiple languages, we’ll put together an Enterprise quote.

Where is my store hosted?

We host Shopware and WooCommerce stores on GDPR-compliant servers in Germany (EU), so pages load fast for your UK customers. Daily backups, monitoring and security updates are included in every store plan. Shopify stores run on Shopify’s infrastructure.

What happens if my store gets more visitors or has more products than the plan covers?

You can move up to the next plan, or we can expand hosting and product capacity individually. Upgrades are possible at any time; downgrades at the end of the minimum term.

What do additional customisations or features cost?

Requests outside the plan, such as additional plugins, integrations, or design changes, are estimated in advance and quoted separately. You only pay once you accept that quote.

Which ecommerce platform do you use, and what does the licence cost?

You choose between Shopware 6, WooCommerce, and Shopify, each in the latest version. With Shopware, any licence costs depend on the selected plan and are billed separately; many stores start with the free Community Edition. WooCommerce is licence-free. With Shopify, the monthly Shopify fees apply, which you pay directly to Shopify. If you’re still unsure, we’ll advise you in the initial consultation.

How quickly will my store be online?

After the kickoff, you’ll receive a fixed timeline. Scale stores on the standard template usually go live within a few weeks; for Pro and Enterprise, the timeline depends on the scope of design, data, and integrations.

What is StatHubs and what does it cost me?

StatHubs is an analytics app from our partner Profihost: your store’s revenue, orders, visitors, conversion, and ad spend in real time on your phone, with push notifications when revenue drops or checkout has issues. StatHubs Premium is included in the store subscription at no extra cost, and we set up the connection to your store.

Is the subscription also available for a website without a store?

Yes. For businesses that don’t need an online store, there’s the website subscription: we build and run your WordPress website with hosting in Germany, from £99 per month with no setup fee.
