We were shop owners ourselves.

In 2010, we launched our first online shop with no start-up capital. It grew to more than 500 orders a day, its own brand and in-house fulfilment. In 2017, we founded solution25. Frequently asked questions

Do I have to build the website myself?

No. Unlike a website builder, our team designs and sets up the entire website: design, pages, forms and go-live. You provide your logo, copy and images; we do the rest and keep running the website afterwards.

What do you need from me?

Your logo, the copy and images for the pages and, if you have one, access to your domain. At the kickoff, we agree on the format and timeline together.

Can I edit content myself later?

Yes. Your website runs on WordPress, so you manage copy and images yourself in the editor. We will show you how during onboarding. Our team can handle bigger changes if you prefer.

Do I own the website after the term ends?

Yes. When the 24-month minimum term ends, the rights of use for the website pass to you: design, setup and all content. You then decide whether to continue hosting, updates and support with us (renewing for 12 months at a time), run the website yourself or work with another provider.

Am I committing to anything by sending a request?

No. You are not buying anything by sending a request. You will receive information about the selected plan and a personalised quote. A contract with a 24-month minimum term only comes into effect once you accept that quote.

Which plan suits my business?

Start suits a compact web presence with up to 5 pages, for example for sole traders, GP and dental practices or tradespeople. Pro is designed for businesses with a custom design, up to 20 pages and a blog. If you need several languages, locations or integrations, we will put together an Enterprise quote.

Can I keep my existing domain?

Yes. Your domain, whether .co.uk or .com, stays yours, and we connect it to the new website. At the kickoff, we clarify how your existing email inboxes keep running so no message gets lost during the move.

Where is my website hosted?

On servers in Germany, in the data centre of our hosting partner profihost. As the UK recognises the EU as providing adequate data protection, this hosting is compatible with UK GDPR. SSL certificate, daily backups, monitoring and updates are included in every website plan.

What happens if my website needs more pages or gets more visitors than the plan covers?

You can move up to the next plan, or we can expand page count and hosting individually. Upgrades are possible at any time; downgrades at the end of the minimum term.

What do additional customisations or features cost?

Requests outside the plan, such as additional pages, integrations or design changes, are estimated in advance and quoted separately. You only pay once you accept that quote.

How quickly will my website be online?

After the kickoff, you will receive a fixed timeline. Start websites on the standard design usually go live within a few weeks; for Pro and Enterprise, the timeline depends on the scope of design and content.

Can I also get an online shop as a subscription?

Yes. With the shop subscription, we build and run your online shop on Shopware, WooCommerce or Shopify, from £299 per month with no setup fee.
